Q 1: How can I reserve an apartment?
A: Maxwell Residence has been received very well and many of the apartments are already reserved. In order to ensure your luxury apartment is reserved for you, please contact us at (514) 457-3111 immediately.
Q 2: When can I move in?
A: Immediate occupancy is available as of March 2005.
Q 3: Can I have only the evening meal?
A: At Maxwell Residence we will provide 3 balanced meals for your health & comfort and your lease includes 3 meals.
Q 4: Is there any Government subsidy for seniors?
A: Yes. Persons 70 years or older may claim a tax credit equal to 23% of eligible expenses, not exceeding $2,760 annually. Our staff will be pleased to inform you about this program and will assist you in the administration of the appropriate documents. At the present time (March 2005), the tax credit is approximately $150 for studio, $172 for 1-bedroom and $203 for 2-bedroom apartments.
Q 5: Will there be choices at meal times?
A: Yes, at all meals.
Q 6: What happens if I have to leave due to illness?
A: No problem at all we will be glad to reconsider your lease terms, and help you find appropriate accommodations.
Q 7: Will there be an apartment available for guests?
A: Yes there will be a furnished apartment for your friends and loved ones to come and stay and enjoy our hospitality.
Q 8: Is there a swimming pool?
A: No, but there is a therapeutic Jacuzzi.
Q 9: Will I have transport to Doctor's appointments downtown?
A: regularly scheduled transport to major centers will be provided in 2006.
Q 10: Will the rent be raised next year?
A: There may be a raise based on the recommendation of the rental board.
Q 11: Can I bring my pet?
A: You have to apply for special permission and every case is assessed individually.
