Farzad Shodjaee

Farzad is our general manager, as well as being the founder and owner-operator. He ensures the smooth overall operation of our residence. He is an engineer by training with a master in civil engineering from McGill university. After working for many years in an engineering firm, he started his own construction company. At the same time, he received a degree in business management and also worked as a trained financial planner. He collaborated with the city of Baie d’Urfe to bring to life the long-standing wish of this community to have a local senior’s residence. He worked hard to create a facility that would add to the beauty of the municipality and enhance the quality of life for all. As a result, Maxwell residence has become a space that is appreciated by residents and neighbours, creating new opportunities for interactions and joint activities. He is proud to have his mother as one of the residents.

Linda Sedlak

Linda is our marketing and leasing manager and has been with Maxwell from the day we opened. From the start, she understood the vision of this enterprise which was to create a true community. In many ways, she represents Maxwell and conveys the warmth, caring and dedication that our residence has come to exemplify. She knows every resident well and is always concerned with their wellbeing and happiness. She is our anchor and it is hard to imagine Maxwell without her.

Paulette Challenger

This energetic activity manager is originally from St. Kitts and has lived in Montreal for some 40 years. After a career in fashion design and interior decorating, Paulette became interested in fitness instruction and body-building and brings her enthusiasm for lifelong fitness to the programming she organizes at Maxwell. Marlene Chislett

Marlene is our head nurse at Maxwell with a lifetime of experience in nursing ranging from hospital settings to private clinics. She is originally from North Bay Ontario but has lived in Montreal for most of her life.
She is always there for all the residents and also accompanies our Geriatric Physician who rotates through our residence on a weekly basis. Marlene is a caring and vigilant nurse, bringing peace of mind to our residents, as no complaint is too small for her to offer reassuring health checks and advice. She is a mother and grandmother who loves life and is always ready with a smile or a joke or a compassionate word.
